Located just north of Charlotte, members and guests at River Run enjoy a championship-level golf course, tennis and fitness facilities, swimming and dining.  One of the most beautiful facilities in the state, River Run provides a complete country club lifestyle for every member of the family.


The club features an 18-Hole golf course that is home to many of the region’s largest golf tournaments each year. River Run’s course is consistently well manicured and has Bermuda fairways and greens. For tennis enthusiasts, River Run offers a variety of playing surfaces, including nine clay courts, three hard courts and four indoor courts. In addition, the club features a large, family friendly pool area with a lazy river and waterslides as well as a full-service fitness facility.


Members enjoy several dining options at the Club. Whether it’s ordering from the dinner menu and dining in the formal dining room, casual dining in The Wildcat, grabbing a bite to eat poolside or having lunch and a cocktail at Slice in the tennis facility, we offer something for everyone.


At River Run Country Club, members and guests enjoy dining options from casual to formal, available on a nightly dining menu as well as special holiday and social events. The club also has beautiful private event options and hosts many special events such as wine tasting and dinners.

The Head Golf Professional promotes the game of golf through operational structure and programming that provides a "first class" environment for Members and guests. They develop all golf operations department budget, including forecasts, to see that all financial goals are met. The benchmark for success is growth in Member usage and revenues, reduction in Member attrition and the high quality standards for service, production, cleanliness, and safety.


  • Responsible for all golf operations at the Club, including, golf carts, bag room, locker room, golf shop, special tournaments and Member/Guest events
  • Responsible for hiring, training and developing all staff
  • Develop aggressive Golf revenue sales, marketing and net revenue plans and direct successful implementation, following established ClubCorp budgeting and revenue guidelines

Job Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years as a Golf Professional
- College degree preferred
- PGA/LPGA Profession Certification completion required
- Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of expense control as it relates to payroll and the forecasting and budgeting of expenses
- Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems
