Reservation Agent 

A Reservation Agent is responsible to work with our customers/member with their booking needs. The services provided by a Reservation Agent include, but are not limited to, booking overnight accommodation, reserving tee times, creating dinner reservations, answering questions, and making suggestions. An ideal Reservation Agent is organized, able to work with minimal supervision, and have excellent customer service skills. He/she will be responsible to obtain an excellent knowledge of Firestone Country Club and its offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls, emails, and Zingle member texts
  • Manage Reservations Voicemail box and respond promptly
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various membership privileges and benefits
  • Coordinate with Private Events for special events and outings
  • Checking the availability of accommodation and/or tee times based on the customers’ desired travel dates. If not available, offer alternative available dates.
  • Confirm the method of guarantee information to secure reservations. Send booking confirmation details to customers
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations and resolving them
  • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services, upgrades, or special packages
  • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation
  • Researching billing errors and correcting as needed

Requirements:

  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, Concierge, or similar role (preferred)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, and hotel reservations software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
  • Ability in multitasking and time-management
  • Aptitude in resolving issues with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
  • High school diploma: degree in relevant field will be a plus
